The ACTIV consortium presents its white paper

After two years of research and interviews, the #ACTIVproject has just released its final publication: “(Re)insertion into society and the workplace of women victims of domestic violence: recommendations for working together”. This white paper marks the end of the two-year project, which focused on improving the socio-professional (re)integration of women experiencing domestic violence.

After having conducted research with different actors in France, Belgium, Romania, and Spain, the ACTIV consortium has elaborated a series of recommendations to also improve synergies and cooperation between actors involved in the pathways to socio-professional reintegration. Among the main themes that were discussed :

  • Peripheral barriers
  • Improvement of self-esteem
  • Professional barriers
  • Field workers difficulties
  • Working with companies
  • Improving synergies between all stakeholders

European collaboration to improve the prospects for victims of domestic violence

Within the framework of this partnership, the ACTIV project has produced other deliverables that aim to improve the synergies between the structures concerned and the different actors involved in the socio-professional reintegration process.

The Toolkit

In order to overcome the lack of collaboration between actors when it comes to providing effective help, assistance and support to women. ACTIV has developed a toolkit that makes use of the knowledge and expertise of field workers and companies in the field of domestic violence and socio-professional (re)integration.

The guide book

The guide includes the main definitions and highlights the main steps to a successful return to work. You can also find inspiring and replicable initiatives!

The guide is intended for all actors involved in the socio-professional (re)integration of women experiencing domestic violence.

The final conference

The ACTIV partners met for the last time in Brussels and organized a final conference in Brussels on 30 November 2022. This event was an opportunity to present the tools developed in the framework of the project and to discuss the results of the project with the stakeholders.
