04 Mar #8M we launch our website
This 8M we fight especially for the professional reintegration of women in situations of domestic violence – #ACTIVproject!
March is a month marked by the 8M International Women’s Day, highlighted for commemorating the struggle of women to achieve effective equality in society and their emancipation.
We cannot be more proud to launch our ACTIV project website this month. Check it out: https://activproject.eu/.
The #ACTIVproject’s main objective is the socio-professional (re) integration of women who are facing domestic violence.
5 partner organizations from European countries (France, Belgium, Romania and Spain) collaborate to offer free resources for structures that wish to support women on their way back to work!
According to the latest report from the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA, 2014), 1 in 3 women in Europe “has experienced physical and/or sexual violence since she was 15 years old” and 1 in 5 “has experienced physical and/or sexual intimate partner violence”. A situation which has worsened following the Covid-19 crisis.
This further highlights how the workplace is often one of the few safe places, and the positive role that companies can play.
Join the project!
All support counts in this fight! We have designed a questionnaire that is part of the research for the development of a guidebook that includes the key steps in the process of (re) integration of women facing domestic violence to the workplace.
If you have or have had experience in implementing an action to support women facing gender violence, we would love to hear from you!
Complete the questionnaire and share it to be part of the project. Access here.
